Thorp Reed & Armstrong partner Kimberly A. Brown, was honored with the 2008 Lynette Norton Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Commission on Women in the Profession. The award was created in memory of Lynette Norton, an advocate and founding member of the PBA Commission on Women in the Profession who passed away in 2002 and is presented to a female attorney who excels in litigation and has demonstrated leadership in mentoring other women attorneys. Ms. Brown received the award Thursday, June 5th, at the PBA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia.

The program is designed to provide hospital legal counsel, compliance officers and medical personnel with an overview of the legal framework and recommended guidelines that the Clara Bell Duvall Project of the ACLU of Pennsylvania has developed for the treatment of minors following sexual assault.
